It's porn logic ;) (and the fact that many Furry cats' dicks' barbs are considered soft, even though irl sex is extremely painful for the female cat because those spikes want you and your vaginal lining DEAD)

That's not at all why cats have barbed penises. They're literally there to stimulate the lining. The barbs are flesh, they're soft, honestly not that different from ribbed condoms. Female cats do not ovulate like humans periodically, the penis barbs cause ovulation during sex, releasing a female egg.
