long live the authors of the midwestern bible
the sound, the crowd, the vibe, the weather its just PERFECT. I wish I was there 😭😭
thank you for filming this. thank you so much.
the weather is so fitting. never even thought about it until this comment. It just made so much sense in the video, I guess I just always expect the weather to be this when AF plays.
these dudes make me want to buy a Telecaster
Do it
You won’t regret it
Do it!
Dude I was thinking the same thing. Every time I listen to this album I get the urge to just buy one.
3:36 At this point they might as well just bring the house on tour with them and let it sign autographs
`for sure` -- it was 2011. dimmed light room, potato laptop, lofi genius speaker, reading books, and an "i miss you" sms pops up. some memories are clear, some are don't.
Hmmm menarique
And not knowing they'll ever play again
Genuinely the best live audio I’ve ever heard at a show watching this
Mobo!!
@@fisherkhongmaly9893 yesss!
I'm so glad they played some tracks from their self-titled album!
Me and my gf met at this festival for the first time after talking on dating app and we watched this set together and it’s a moment I’ll never forget especially I’ll see you when we’re both not so emotional I teared up a bit to that lmao
A female murican football fan is a keeper.
This is super gay
@SuperDecdog what does gay mean?
@@SuperDecdog it is a very happy story love that for them
@@3starz475we broke up in the end 😅
I'll remember this weekend, this night and this set forever
Love you man
It's crazy how a semi temporary band from the 90s that put out a handful of eps and a full length to pretty average fan fare. Came back yeeeaaaars later and legit created like 10 new genres by accident lol.
Some of us were on the ride all along, the rest hasn't just discovered it yet, they will, they will
these guys accidentally innovate the whole guitar playing style. what a band
@ Actually they were inspired by a lot of obscure classic rock, aop, etc.
Check out the band Sand. You can hear the slightest hints of what was to come with similar guitar playing, etc.
Nothing new under the sun for a long time.... just a lot of re-polishing and mixing ingredients.
Though... AF brought it like 498734589745 levels higher.
You uploaded the whole thing David?! :')
The amount of joy this has given me, having this on in the background, while I packed my bags for a long journey home :)
Thank you so much for this!
Ahh this was a GREAT way to spend an hour on the sofa, thanks!
its amazing how the crowd is waiting for never meant song, and everyone began going up to stage when they started to played the song.. love the vibes !
Came back to relive last year in the runup to outbreak this year. i'll never forget rushing the stage during never meant and everyone leaving the arena afterwards singing either the outro to never meant or death cup by mom jeans
Only got to catch the first couple of this set so I’m grateful for this, also mad at myself for having to rush off.
Really hope you guys got the Thursday and The Hoteliers set!
@@DanTheSoundscaper everything filmed!
@@daitanfilms Thank you so much!
The quality is incredible
Can we talk about Nate playing three different instruments throughout Honestly 🤩 - the heavier ending they give to this song live is defo my favourite part of the show
You can hear his solo projects are great. Big musician . (Birthmark)
Bringing Nate in was the best idea they've ever had.
Truly a special moment, thank you so much for preserving it so well
Man this looks special, would've loved to have been there
I don't think there is music that can top this. This whole sound and vibe is my life.
I'll be seeing them in 2 weeks in Brooklyn!!!
what a perfect ending
I’m going to their show at San Francisco in two days, im excited as hell 😭
DAVID, YOU A LEGEND FOR THESE VIDEOS.
Love them so much
Great Band ! Nice performance !
Goosebumps throughout
This wasn't even in the US but the UK. The youth has given our future hope!
What a show, caught them at The Roundhouse a few months later. Great to have a very similar setlist available on RUclips!
@@thejuniormafia we did Glasgow of that run so that setlist incoming at some point!
Damn the crowd was sick
Amazing
THANK YOU.
I love this band so much❤
incredible vibes

Stunning
i cried
more than a band. it's a fxcking lifestyle
healing my wound
i'm cringing so hard at these zoomers on the stage having fun and enjoying themselves singing along to riffs like it's a football match to the most beautiful soft music ever made - lucky bastards wish i'd gone
its really something man. really beautiful.
Long before midwest emo and math rock became a thing, there was american football. ..
❤
Saddest crowd ever
dope
MIKE KINSELLA IS GOD OF EMO
Im from mideastern
It'd have been cool if they played The One With the Tambourine
goated song
Aw man, nothing from LP3?
this is an LP1 25th anniversary tour...
in a festival, with short set times, they basically play the whole LP1 with 'five silent miles' as intro
when theyre headlining (non festival gig) they usually play doom in full bloom, every wave and every rise, and uncomfortably numb as additional songs before never meant, (or could be shuffled around) and some LP2 songs... based on their tour setlist...
@@analyticgeometry1 Can confirm. Was at the first night for their Los Angeles show and they played a few from LP2 and LP3. Honestly, one of their best shows ever.
chorando
SO STAY ALONE ;_;
He could use autotune lol
I cried
